This waterproof/submersible, mega-sized sling pack is constructed from 840-denier, abrasion- and puncture-resistant ballistic nylon and then coated with 0.1mm TPU on both sides of the fabric. With 14L of storage space, it can hold all your fly boxes with room to spare for a jacket and anything else you want to keep dry. If you wanted to carry more, you’d need a backpack, but this sling does a much better job of keeping everything accessible and right where you need it.
When you swing it to the front, you have easy access to the Tippet Whippet docking station, which is welded onto the fabric instead of sewn in so there’s no possibility of water leakage. The main compartment is shielded by a TiZip MasterSeal zipper, with a cavernous opening so it’s easy to reach in and find what you need.
The high-vis chartreuse interior has two interior hanging pockets sized right for leaders, and a larger zippered pocket for keys and wallet. The comfortable shoulder strap and back panel is built from perforated 10mm foam padding, so it dries quickly and stays cool in the summer. The back panel also has a net scabbard and exterior D-ring for a net.
The outside of the bag has a second, water-resistant accessory pocket with a YKK AquaGuard zipper, a water bottle pocket with a retention leash, and a looped fly field for drying flies .
